Mougins School was established in 1964 and moved to its present site on the high technology park of Sophia Antipolis in 1987. The purpose-built campus, situated in a pine forest provides indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, including a synthetic football pitch, Library, two fully equipped Science Laboratories, an Information Technology Centre, Art Room, Music Room, stage lighting and sound for theatrical productions and Dining Room providing freshly cooked lunches.

The School has a one-form entry system with restricted class sizes catering for students aged from three to eighteen representing over thirty countries. Studies are based on the British National Curriculum modified to meet the needs of an international market. Tests are taken as in the UK at 7, 11 and 14, followed by the IGCSE, GCSE ‘AS’ and ‘A’ Level examinations, on completion of which our students move on to university education in Europe or the USA. ESL is available. Extra curricular activities include art, volleyball, football, gymnastics, badminton, orienteering, guitar, piano, choir and dramatic art.

The caring family atmosphere complements the high quality of the teaching and helps to enhance the academic, cultural and physical development of our students, producing excellent results, not only academically, but also in the sporting and artistic domains.

Two School buses allow the organisation of field trips, sporting activities and competitions outside the School and residential educational visits.

An active Parent Teacher Association assures social activities for parents and students alike, as well as dynamic fund-raising. Pastoral Care for new families to assist with the hurdles of relocation is readily available.
