How it works
We sell sets of courses to schools rather than individual
teachers. The school can then provide staff with access to the
particular courses that fit with their continuing professional
development needs.
There are 30 courses available to schools. You have the
option to buy access to all 30 or to your own selection of
any 20 of them. Click here to see the titles of the courses and a
description of their content.
Once the school has signed up, all staff - teaching, non
teaching, support staff and Board members - can access the
courses it has bought for 12 months. At the end of the 12
months, it is of course possible to re-subscribe or to buy
into a different set of courses.

When your school buys the courses, one member of staff
needs to become the online training administrator. He or
she:
- registers the school with us, and receives an email
confirmation of the school username and password
- gives the school username and password to those staff
taking a course
- is the school's first point of contact for any Fieldwork
Online Training correspondence
Students are in control of their own learning - they decide
when and where to work, and how much to do in each session.
Each course will include some reinforcement activities for
them to complete both in their daily routine in school and in
their own time. The amount of material in each course varies,
but as a very rough guide most courses require 15-20 hours of
work from the student. We strongly advise that students
complete each course within three months.
Each course has been thoroughly tested for its usability.
Our courses are clear and easy to follow and include an online
Help facility to guide the students through.
