The English International School, Prague is a co-educational day-school for children aged from 18 months to 14 years from over 25 nationalities. It was established in 1995 by Nord Anglia Education plc.and has sister schools in central Europe, China and Vietnam. The school is a member of COBIS, The College of Teachers, ECIS , the British and Canadian Chambers of Commerce in Prague

The school is housed on two separate sites, situated in the Southern greenbelt area of Prague offering excellence through a British Style Education in English whilst taking cognisance of its international perspective.

Additionally all aspects of learning take place within a community where the 3 Rs - Respect, Responsibility and Relationships are paramount.

Our school motto is 'Look for the Best in Others, Give the Best You Have'.

The Early Years Unit (1½ -5½ years) is located in Kunratice, on the southern outskirts of central Prague, in a villa which has been adapted to make a pleasant learning environment with bright, well-resourced class-rooms. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden in which the children play every day, and backs on to extensive forest.

The Main School (5½-14 ½ years) is a few minutes drive away in Libuš. It is a well-equipped purpose-built building with a first-class science laboratory, pottery and Art room, Fully networked ICT lab, library, spacious classrooms and a large play-area.

A new multi-purpose sports hall was completed in the Autumn of 1999 and the playground now boasts a new basket-ball court and all-weather surface.

We have access to a swimming pool, tennis courts and a large sports field five minutes walk from the school, during the summer months.

The main site is close to a wooded conservation area which is used as much as possible to enhance the curriculum.

Trips, clubs and activities are offered each term and a creative arts summer school runs during the month of July.

We operate a bus service to the Main Site to make it accessible for children living in other parts of the city.
