THE LONDON CONFERENCE FOR BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS WORLDWIDE

The Conference is open to Governors (Board Members), Heads, and members of Senior Management Teams from British International Schools anywhere in the world. The COBIS Conference has grown substantially in recent years and now attracts people from British schools in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia, and America. It provides an excellent forum for meeting senior staff in British schools in Europe and from all over the world, and an opportunity to hear speakers who are leaders in education in the UK.

Details for Exhibitors

• All coffee breaks are held within the exhibition area
• Two coffee breaks each day of up to 30-minutes
• Refreshments will be served in both the Exhibition rooms (but not in the Conference room) and on Monday there will also be a finger buffet in the Exhibition rooms
• All conference sessions are held next to the exhibition area
• Exhibiting companies and representatives will be listed in the conference programme and on the COBIS website
• Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to provide a brief description to be included in the conference packs for delegates
• List of delegates will be available at the Conference
• Type of space: Exhibitors to supply their own generic stands. Each stand to be equipped with one 6′ baized trestle table plus 2 chairs
• Charges for stands remain at the 2007 rate

The main Exhibition Room will again be the Gladstone Library and there will be 28 stands (6’) in this space. There will be a number of similar stand spaces available in the River Room, but as this is a smaller space the charges for this room are lower.

Exhibition charges cover lunch on Sunday and Monday and coffees for two people per unit. Additional representative cost is £55 per person per day, which includes lunch and coffees.

HOTEL ACCOMODATION

The hotel accommodation will be at One Whitehall Place & The Royal Horseguards, Westminster (address as specified at the top of page).  The cost of accommodation per night in the hotel is £131.25 per room including breakfast for single occupancy.  Double occupancy is £152.25 per room including breakfast.  

In the Library the setting-up can be done on Saturday, 10th May from 07:00 hours. In the River Room the setting-up can only be done on the morning of Sunday, 11th May from 07:00 hours.
